When Will My Order Arrive?

Most all of items are made as ordered here in the U.S.A., each item is different, shipping times vary from item to item and color to color, the number of business days it takes for an item to be processed, produced and prepared for shipment can range from 3 to 21 business days depending on the item ordered, some items may take longer due to unforeseen circumstances. Orders will ship as quickly as possible. Please Contact Us if you have any questions.

Order Progress

Most items, custom made and specialty bedding items are made as ordered right here in the USA, items can take time to be made depending on what is ordered. You will receive progress updates as they apply to your order throughout the process. Please Contact Us should you have any questions.

  • Processing:   Order has been received and is in the process of being scheduled, produced, awaiting product availability or preparing to be shipped, the process time varies depending on item ordered.
  • Back-order:  Item or component to complete an order is temporarily delayed, back-ordered or is awaiting item availability.
  • Scheduled:   Order is scheduled for production, to be assembled or waiting to be packaged
  • Production:  Order is in production (in the process of being made).
  • Shipping:     Order is complete and preparing to be shipped.
  • Shipped:      Order has shipped via UPS, FedEx or USPS.
  • Canceled:     Order has been cancelled and refunded if applicable.


Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic we are experiencing unexpected shipping and production delays, shipping times could be extended or item may be delayed longer than usual.

When you receive your order be sure it is exactly what you ordered and that it fits properly before using or washing, if the item is incorrect please Contact Us for assistance.


Many Items will ship within 3 to 21 business days (varies during Covid-19 Pandemic), however, during the holiday seasons, large orders, made to order items, special orders, back ordered items, items scheduled to be made and out of stock items may take longer. In addition, please allow 3 to 7 business days from the day your order has been shipped for UPS, FeDex or USPS Ground Deliveries to be delivered once an order has been shipped within the lower 48 States, orders shipping to Canada, Alaska or Hawaii incur additional shipping costs which are determined at time of shipping, if you have any questions on shipping costs please please Contact Us for more information.

Orders that can take longer or have additional freight charges apply to: large orders, items which require oversized boxes, items shipped via U.S. Mail, overseas shipments, Alaska shipments, shipments to Canada, shipments to Hawaii and Military addresses. If you have any questions as to whether or not an item will be delayed or have additional freight charges please Contact Us for additional information should you require any, otherwise any additional nominal costs required to ship your order will be automatically charged to your account.

Customers who request shipping to Canada may incur customs or duty charges by the shipping service within Canada, we are not responsible for any additional fees once an item has entered into any location outside the continental United States, also, not all items are available for U.S. Mail shipping.

Shipments may require signature for delivery and is at the discretion of the shipper.

Items which are shipped outside the continental U.S., large shipments, items which require oversize packaging (bulky or heavy items, large quantities etc) as well as orders shipping to an APO/FPO/POB addresses may carry an additional shipping charge at time of shipping which will be charged in addition to amount already charged when order was processed, please Contact Us should you have any questions regarding extra freight charges.

If you are requesting a rush order and require delivery before times indicated, please Contact Us prior to placing your order for current shipping times and costs.

How Will My Order Ship?

We will ship your order using the fastest, safest, and most reliable method possible via UPS, FEDEX or USPS. These companies provide the fastest and most reliable method of shipping available for many items we offer. Depending on how close you are to the shipping warehouse, your item will arrive between 2 and 7 business days (2 to 10 business days for USPS) after it leaves the warehouse.

Shipping Status

You may Contact Us us for status inquiries after the advertised shipping time has been exceeded. Please provide name of person who placed order, name of person item is shipping to, and brief description of item(s) ordered. If an order has been shipped and is past due for delivery, mis-delivered or possibly lost by the shipping company, you may Contact Us to have your shipment tracked.

Placing orders for delivery to Canada 

The average delivery times above are for orders shipping within the contiguous United States. The transit time for orders shipping to Canada will increase due to your location and possible customs delays. Please note that we do not currently offer expedited shipping to Canadian addresses. A minimum of 10 - 14 business days are automatically added to Canadian shipments. Free freight, freight promotions or discounted freight does not apply to shipments shipping to Canada, Alaska or Hawaii. A minimum $25.00 additional shipping costs will be applied to most orders shipping to Canada, Alaska or Hawaii, larger items will cost additional due to weight and size of box.

Placing orders for delivery to International Destinations 

Specialty Linens will ship most products to almost any country in the world. Please Contact Us with your complete shipping location and product you are interested in for shipping times and freight quotes.

Order Acceptance

By submitting an order customer agrees to all policies and conditions set forth by Specialty Linens and The Linen Store. The receipt of an order number or an email order confirmation does not constitute the acceptance of an order or a confirmation of an offer to sell. The Linen Store/Specialty Linens reserves the right, without prior notification, to limit the order quantity on any item and/or to refuse service to any customer. Verification of information may be required prior to the acceptance of any order. Prices and availability of products on the site are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected when discovered, The Linen Store/Specialty Linens reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions (including after an order has been submitted).

Returns, Exchanges, Credits, Fees

Eligible products can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of the date the order was received provided the item is in brand new condition with all packaging as received. Products returned deemed eligible will receive a refund minus original shipping and handling fees, return shipping fees, applicable discounts and up to a 25% restocking fee may apply. Products not in brand new condition cannot be returned, unused items may be exchanged within 10 days of the date the product was received, if free shipping was provided then the actual shipping costs will be deducted from your return refund. "Special Order Items", "Satin Bedding", "Made To Order Items", "Discontinued", "Closeouts", "Special Order", "Non Returnable", "Limited Availability", "Mix n' Match", "Inseparable bedding", "eyelet and lace bedding", Latex items, Bedcaps and specially made bedding is non returnable.

If a credit is due to a cancellation you will need to allow 24 to 48 hours for your cancellation to be processed, if a refund is due it can take approximately 7 business days to complete, this can vary depending on the banks policies of the issuing credit/debit card used.

Customer is responsible for return of product(s) to correct return address and all returns must be issued a return authorization number which is valid for 10 days from date issued, items returned by customer without authorization will be refused. Returns received after 10 days of issued return authorization number will be refused. Returns received used or without original packaging per The Linen Store/Specialty Linens policy will not be accepted unless verified defective. In the unexpected event that an item is shipped in error and received by the customer the customer will be charged for the item received if not returned at the expense of Specialty Linens & The Linen Store or communicated as such with 7 days of receipt. Please Contact Us prior to return for return address and authorization, returns received without proper authorization or expired authorizations will be refused. All eyelet, lace, special order bed skirts, special order canopy tops, special order bedspreads, futon bedding, bean bags-chairs,  and "Special Order" items are non returnable. Sheet sets not defective, feather bedding, fiber beds and Goose Down items are non returnable if removed from the package it was shipped in. Silk and all Satin bedding not defective are non returnable if removed from the package it was shipped in. 

Please Contact Us if you have any questions on which items are non returnable or have a restocking fee, return authorizations will only be issued by Contacting Us. Refunds, replacements or credits are normally issued within 2 to 3 weeks of receipt of return or after inspection of item if required. Upon receipt of any return customer may be charged an additional amount for re-shipping package back to customer if item returned has been used, damaged, washed or is a non-returnable item per The Linen Store/Specialty Linens policy. In your return package please include: The packing slip (if available), a note telling us what the problem was, a note stating whether you would like a credit or an exchange.

Sheepskins - Fiber Beds - Feather Bedding - Goose Down Bedding

Sheepskins, 100% Goose Down bedding, Feather and Fiber bed bedding, all goose and feather filled pillows are returnable within 7 days of receipt only if not removed from the package it was shipped in. Please Contact Us for return authorization prior to returning.

Silk & Satin Bedding Care and Information - See Also: Cancellation Policies

All Bridal Satin items and special order satin items are non-returnable. Bridal Satin sheets and duvet covers are professionally center seamed, Bridal Satin items will wrinkle and can be ironed using cool settings. Bridal Satin is a sleek woven fiber for that special look and feel one associates with fine satin bedding. It is called Bridal Satin because it is used by many bridal gown manufacturers for this very purpose. The densely woven satin fabric is both very elegant and machine washable, if treated with proper care, it will last for a long time. Silk & Bridal Satins should be washed by itself on a gentle cycle, cold water setting. Please do not, under any circumstances, use hot water, heat is an enemy of Silks & Bridal Satin for both washing and drying, also, do not use any type of bleach, fabric softer is not necessary, woolite preferred.  When finished washing, promptly remove to avoid unnecessary wrinkles, line-dry, or use a cloths dryer set to "Fluff No Heat". When dry-to-the-touch promptly remove to your bed or loosely roll up for storage, if desired for that fantastic smooth satin look, touch up any stubborn wrinkles on the reverse side with a clean steam iron set to the lowest steam setting recommend by your iron for satin, do not use iron on silk. Dry Clean any of our silk or satin comforters due to their bulk, home machine washing though possible, is not recommend for our comforters. To extend the life of any silk or satin bedding we suggest rotating sheet sets frequently so that one set is not abnormally worn due to continual usage. Specialty Linens and its manufacturers are not responsible for normal wear & tear, abuse, mistreatment, damages due to washing and shredded or worn fabrics in areas of usage.

Special Order Items

All products which are indicated as "Special Order Item(s)", "Satin Bedding", "Made To Order", "Discontinued", "Closeouts", "Special Order", "Non Returnable", "Limited Availability", "Mix n' Match", "Inseparable bedding", "eyelet and lace bedding" are specially made and non returnable. Refunds or credits will not be issued on special order or custom made items, if you receive a special order item and it is the wrong color, wrong size, damaged or is defective, the item will be repaired if necessary or replaced at no cost to you at the discretion of the maker. Some special orders may take 2 to 6 weeks before shipping. Special orders and non returnable items may be charged to customer at time order is placed and prior to shipping. Please Contact Us if you have any questions on "Special Order" or non-returnable items, or cancellation policies.

Damages - Exchanges - Replacements - Defects - Claims - Warranties and Disclaimers

All items are warranted for 30 days from date of receipt by customer. Items for exchange must be issued an exchange number and items must be in original resalable condition and not to have been used or washed per The Linen Store/Specialty Linens policy, in addition, any freight charges incurred during an exchange are the responsibility of the customer, free shipping promotions are not valid for exchanges. Returnable items which are defective will be issued a full credit including all shipping costs if not replaced or exchanged, defective items which are non-returnable will be replaced only. Customer is responsible for return of defective item per The Linen Store/Specialty Linens return policies. A full refund will be issued for items deemed defective if replacement is not possible. Items under warranty which are claimed to be defective and items for exchange must be issued a return authorization number and return instructions by The Linen Store/Specialty Linens. Wrinkling of fabrics may be common for most 100% cotton, Silk and Satin materials. The Linen Store/Specialty Linens and its manufacturers are not responsible for normal wear & tear, abuse, mistreatment, damages due to washing and shredded or worn fabrics in areas of usage. Cancellations will be accepted prior to shipping of order by Contacting Us.  If an order has already been produced, shipped or was not able to be canceled due to shipping or production procedures then the customer will be responsible for return of item(s) per The Linen Store/Specialty Linens product and/or return policy. All Satin items and Special Orders may be subject to a 25% cancellation fee after 5 days of ordering. Item may not be cancelled if order is already in production or if shipped. Back Orders - Product Delays - Out of Stock Items

Back orders are a result of unforeseen manufacturer delays in producing products to be shipped. The Linen Store/Specialty Linens may choose to partial ship an item if multiple items were ordered and back order the remainder of any item ordered and ship that item at a later date at no cost to the customer. It's possible that some items may be temporarily out of stock for a period of time due to color, style, size, holiday season, manufacturer delays or other unforeseen circumstances. The Linen Store/Specialty Linens may upgrade an item of equal or greater quality for same item ordered at no additional cost to customer if item ordered is out of stock or discontinued. Customer may be charged for back ordered item to ensure shipment at time of product availability. Customers will be notified only if item ordered has been discontinued, no longer available and if no alternate item is available.

Catalogs - Fabric Swatches

Sorry, we do not offer printed catalogs, fabric swatches may be available depending on the item. The Linen Store/Specialty Linens cannot guarantee that if a fabric swatch is sent that the swatch received will match an item ordered of the same material. Please Contact Us if you have any questions about the products or colors.

Product Colors

Although we make every effort to provide true and accurate colors for our products listed on our web site and as a result of individual computers and monitor settings, we cannot guarantee the color(s) viewed on ones monitor will be an exact match to the actual material colors delivered, in addition, we also cannot guarantee that if a fabric swatch or product item is sent that the piece received will match an item ordered of the same material at any other time as dye lots and fabric colors change and may be different from time to time per the manufacturer. Please Contact Us if you have any questions on our product colors. 

Product Sizes

All sizes for products advertised can vary, sizes indicated throughout the online store are approximate and may vary slightly depending on conditions during manufacturing, production of item, material content or washing. The Linen Store/Specialty Linens and its manufacturers are not responsible for shrinkage or variances of product sizes.


We accept Visa, Master Card and Discover for credit card payments. Cashier checks, money orders are accepted for mail-in orders, credit and debit cards will be authorized or charged in full upon receipt of order if shipment is imminent even if on back order or delayed to insure product availability for customer, also, over sized shipments or shipments that require additional freight at time of shipping will be charged additional to meet actual freight amount above freight quoted at time of placing order. Special orders and non returnable items will be charged to customer at time order is placed and prior to shipping.
